Family Fortunes is now named All star family fortunes, as it now features two famous celebrity familys, who go head to head in order to win cash for their favourite charities.
Vernon Kay, now hosts the show, with his own wonderful style, his facial expressions, and comic antics, add to the shows success.
The famous celebs bring along four other mambers of their family,and each in turn is brought forward, to face a member of the other family in competition, a question is asked based on a poll of 100 people, the person who finds the highest amount of points per answer is then given the opportunity of giving the remaining answers, in order to gain the mos points which are eventually turned into £££££s.
The first family to reach 300 points are given the opportunty at this point to raise £10, 000 for their good cause.
Two members of the family are selected, and whilst one is in sound proof booth the other one is given quickfire questions of polled answers, and given points for each answer if it appears on the board. after which the other family member comes back is given the same questions, and if they are luckyt enough to collect 5 top answers, and pass 200 points they are awarded the top prize, if they dont achieve this, the points they have won are doubled and become ££££££
The funny parts or the show are when the most ridiculous answers are given as the stars strive to come up with answers, and of course you can play along at home and see how well you do, its quite a good lighthearted show, and very easy to follow
