Disadvantages: Some jokes get annoying

Family Guy is a show which people will either love or hate. It could be comparable to South Park and American Dad. The focus is around a family of 5 and their pet dog. The show consists of a completely random assortment of jokes that never fail to make me laugh. I am a huge fan of adult cartoons like this one, however in my opinion it is not a clever or funny as South Park.
There are currently 8 seasons, the latter seasons are far better than the first, with more contraversial jokes.
Peter Griffin is my favourite character. A middle aged family man with the mental age of a 10 year old, that always gets into weird situations.
The programme does get slightly annoyed at times, with some jokes going on and on. For example there is a few episodes that invlove a fight with a guy in a chicken suite, and the fight lasts for about 10 mins, just getting annoying at the end. This happens alot in family guy, with the punch lines of jokes being dragged out, but you just have to sit back, go with it and laugh.
