Advantages: The best sketch show ever

Disadvantages: None

The Fast Show surely must be the best comedy sketch show ever. Its full of great characters that never fail to amuse week in, week out. Ted & Ralph have become two of the shows most famous characters even though in my opinion they are two of the least funniest, I prefer Channel 9 with its cheap and tacky shows followed by a somewhat predictable weather forecast.
All of the characters have there catchphrases and even though they might have become a little predictable in the last couple of series they never stop being funny. My favourite character was always the painter, Johnny, who when saying the word "black" begins to predict the end of the world and comes up with some very disturbing stories.
Paul Whitehouse must be the leader of the cast and when you see him on the show its no wonder why but there are plenty of others who can just as easily make you roll on the floor with laughter.
The first couple of series of The Fast Show certainly weren't as good as the last but they do still have their appeal and have jokes a plenty. Most of the early characters have been axed in favour of their new counterparts.
I have just one more thing to add, will there ever be another series?? PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Liked the review, although I have to disagree about Ted and Ralph, who are my favourite characters. Close second, though, is Johnny, who can't hear the word 'black' without losing it. 'Where are we sleeping tonight, mother? In father's grave?' Genius.
