Flog It is a new type or was the new format of antiques show when it was first introduced by the BBC. The way that the show works, is much like The Antiques Road Show people bring their antiques to be evaluated by the experts but are then given the option of flogging their antique in an auction. What the show does is go through the process of what would happen if a person went straight to an auction house. The show is presented by Paul Martin, a person that would perhaps seem young that the average antique show presenter, but presents the show in an old fashion type of way, as he is eccentric in the way that David Dickenson is. Flog It! is a BBC2 television series about selling antiques that has been running since 2002 and is presented by Paul Martin. It is usually shown at about 4 p.m. on week days. What it does: On each programme a selection of desperate members of the public, many of them who "haven't got two brass farthings to rub together", take their nick knacks and antiques to a local auction house. They are met there by Paul Martin and some other antique's dealers and valuers who between them place a valuation on the item, give a bit of background information on it and than ask the member of the public if they would like to "flog it", ...  Read the complete review

Flog it, is a show with a difference, the main theme is valuating an item of interest, giving the owner of the said item the option of taking their treasures home, or putting them through the auction in order to make some cash. Paul Martin is the main presenter, who himself has many years experience in the collectors and antiques market. Other experts are also on site to cast their well trained eyes on the items and give an opinion of its worth. Venue,s are selected nationwide, and the public turn up at a viewing day with their items, often the queue.s stretch all the way around the building, such is the shows popularity. There is also a section of ...  Read the complete review

Well, here i am about to write a review on a show which focuses on selling peoples antiques/unwanted items. I have a lot of time off and started watching Flog It because its on at 3:45pm (or there abouts) on weekday afternoons when to be truthful, theres not much else on! After watching one episode i found i was hooked! The general idea is that members of the public take a long their items to a 'valuation' day and have their items valued by experts. Its often interesting to hear about an items history but you can tell by the faces of the owners all they want to know about is the value! The items that often fetch the most are the Clarice ...  Read the complete review

I love the program flog it, yes i know i am very sad but i just dont care. It is usually on the bbc channels on a weekday afternoon. Flog it travels around the country letting members of the public like you and me go to get our items looked at and valued by an expert. If you are happy with the valuation you can then choose to sell them in the auction. I love watching this show to see if the experts get it right with there valuation as sometimes they have valued items a lot more expencive than they actually fetch at the auction and other items they have values especially if they are a well sort after piece go through the roof of ...  Read the complete review
