Advantages: Watch it and you will be hooked

Disadvantages: Only 11 seasons long!

Once every so often a TV show comes along that is a piece of writting genius. The cast are superb, the jokes are well written and it makes you laugh. Frasier is that TV Show. I currently own series one to six on DVD and I have been renting the remaining series up to the final series 11 and I have been loving it. So much so that I still intend to buy the series that I am missing and I have no doubt that I will watch them again and again.

I may seem a bit naive with this comment but Frasier is so refreshing. Rather that a TV show "dumbing" down, I fell that this show does the opposite. The jokes and storylines are well written and innuendo is used sparingly rather than rammed down your neck like in other shows.

Having watched the DVD extras I really feel that the cast get on and even in the episodes you can see that the jokes even make the cast laugh.

I recently reviewed Scrubs and said it was hard to pick a character I love more than the others and the same is true here, however, Niles steals the show on more than a couple of occasions and I really do think that David Hyde Pearce the actor is a comedy genius.

At no time have I felt bored while watching this show and on many occasions I have laughed out loud. The charcters draw you along so much that I find myself cringing at embarrassing momments and even tearing up at sad poiniet ones. I will be sad to come to the end of the series.

One final point, I dare you not to want a Jack Russell after watching the dog Eddie!!
