Advantages: Wit, adult humour, originality

Disadvantages: None

Frasier is an adult based comedy series that is just genius. It has a huge following and has won 37 Emmy awards. It is a spin off from another comedy tv show, Cheers. Through the series, several other cast members from Cheers make an appearance on the show.

The show is sophisticated and clever with an original vibe. I feel it has quite a unique sense of wit that is enjoyable to watch and quite unique.

The show focuses on the lives of the Crane family, including, Frasier, Niles and Martin. There are also some other key characters, including Daphne, Roz and Eddie, the dog.

Each character has a different personality, and perhaps one would relate more to certain characters.
One of the noticable parts in the show, are the two brothers, Niles and Frasier, who seem to be the total opposite to their father, Martin. It makes for some good banter, and a great deal of the comedy comes from the differences here.
Martin is pretty easy going, liking the simple things, whereas Niles and Frasier are often pretentious and perhaps snobbish.

As you watch the series, you get involved with the characters and you often feel for them. There are often times of suspense, as well as other themes such as love, jealousy, frustration.

Overall I feel this show stands in a league of its own and it makes a refreshing change to watch.

Summary: A great show!
