A really trying show! (Friends Like These)

Well I don’t know if all of you know about this show called ”friends like these” but here a brief description of the event.

This program is about two groups of people of five where one group is guys and the other groups are girls. The whole event is base on challenges set by the presenter Ian Wright to test there skills. Each contestant must decide when the challenge is set who will be the best to win that challenge and then both member selected with go head to head.

These challenges can be from anything like memory games or even physical challenges.
Like remembering the words in a different language and then the words are repeated back in Italian and you have to give the English explanations.

Now luckily enough I got hold of some ticket to see the show live and to my amazement the whole set looked really small. I was not really impressed sitting on foam seats for about three hour of recording. You guys and gals that have seen the show can not understand the pain-staking period of seating in the same seats for three hours. At home you only get the see the good bits of the challenges and the outtakes. Some of these challenges took at least half an hour to shoot.

During each period there was breaks from a poor entertainer called Jeff who came out giving sweets and telling jokes to everyone. At these point most of us were falling asleep and ready to get up and go but we were not allowed to. There was one good thing and that was when they gave out free drinks and chocolates to everyone for coming.

The drinks came in so much use as the lighting in the set really made the whole place hot.

They should really consider adding air-condition to the place as it would of made the whole event more entertaining.

Also we saw a lot of tricks being given away on how they run the events and most of the stuff is done manually. (VERY DISAPPOINTING)

After all the challenges are done the winner
then have to ask question to their friends to see if they know each other very well. If they get it right their seats will stay white and if wrong then red. The one that is white win a holiday and the one’s in red are left behind. Not all lost if the group who won can gamble the whole think over one question so that they all can go. But if they get it wrong then they all go home!

Overall I would not recommend this to elder to watch as it was very boring and more for younger age groups such as 16-21 year olds, I think it more enjoyable for member of friends who have come to see there friends do the challenge.

I recommend only watching on television otherwise everything is spoiled for you!

They’re so much more to watch on television and I’ll tell you that this show is not one of them!
