Who doesn't remember the long running tv show friends? In its day it was one of the biggest and most succesful sitcoms of all time. Spanning ten series with an astonishing 236 episodes the show was critically acclaimed with the finale pulling in some 52 million viewers! The show was originally conceived by sitcom writers David Crane and Marta Kauffman although at that time im sure not even they knew just how succesful 'Insomnia Cafe' or friends (as it would ultimately be known) would become. The dynamic of the six actors would be integral to the shows success and casting was handled in a very serious way, after much deliberation the following actors ... Read the complete review

Friends is a US sitcom, set in New York and following the lives of its six main characters. First aired in 1994, it essentially catapulted the main cast into the public eye; those actors being Jennifer Anniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler) and David Schwimmer (Ross). Friends is an American comedy programme which can frequently be seen on Channel 4 and its sister channel E4. It is also available on DVD in 4 episode discs, whole seasons or the complete series. Due to the way it is written it can be viewed as a one off episode alone and still be enjoyed rather than having to watch each episode in turn. The idea of friends is following the lives of 6 people who have become friends. In fact the first few episodes shows how Rachel meets up with her school friend Monica, Monica's brother - Ross, & his best friend - Chandler. Through Chandler we meet his flat mate Joey. Through Monica we meet her friend Phoebe. By the end ... Read the complete review

Friends is amazing and a real cult show for people aged about 20-27... it started 10 years ago now (longer than I would like to think!) and it centers around the lives for six good friends leading seperate but very close lives in new york manhatten. They all have work friends etc, but come home to their lives with their "Real" friends. It has big names in it like Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox Arquette, and also David Schwimmer (sp) which make for great viewing. There are 10 episodes going all the way from them first meeting in a coffee shop to the day when they are pretty all much married (i wont say who to who!), with good storylines of love ...
