Friends- quite simply hands down has to be my most favorite sitcom ever!I have watched every single episode about a hundred times over as it's something i never get bored of.
First of all let me tell you a little bit of background of this fantastic show.......

It was first broadcast on our screens back in 1994 created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman
Although being a American sitcom, it was so hugely popular that it was brought over to the UK on trial and immediately hit off and became a big hit so it carried on. With numerous awards under their belt, ten series's recorded , ten years later Friends is still one of the most talked about and loved shows.

Sadly it came to end back in 2004 with a very emotional ending, and for those who couldn't get over the fact of it finishing, E4 kindly gives us daily does so we don't forget it.
Their are 6 main Characters in the show

Jennifer Aniston, who plays Rachel Green

Courteney Cox who plays Monica Geller

Lisa Kudrow, who plays Phoebe Buffay

Matt LeBlanc, who plays Joey Tribbiani

Matthew Perry, who plays Chandler Bing

David Schwimmer, who plays Dr. Ross Geller

It is cast in Manhattan New York, and is about a group of 6 six friends who share there lifes with each other,Monica is like the mother of the group and her apartment is where everybody gathers, to enjoy her delicious cooking ( she's a cook), Later on in the series she starts dating Chandler and eventually they get married.
Rachel- used to be a rich spoilt girl and grew up with her mum and dad not knowing the value of money and life, she knows Monica and Ross from childhood but doesn't actually meet up with them until years later when on the day she is getting married to a dentist she realizes she making a mistake and runs away and hides finding Monica and Ross in the famous coffe house they all use. Since then she has found a career in fashion, dated, and married Ross( whilst drunk) and had a baby girl.
Phoebe is the one who didn't have any connection with the group whilst growing up, she has been homeless and had a rough upbringing due to her mom, who then committed suicide, since then she got in with the group and like the rest has had her fair share of up's and downs, and is known as the wacky and funny one.
Ross is Monica's sister, he is a paleontologist and likes to take his job very seriously although does bore the rest of the friends as he is a very head strong guy,Ross has been married 4 times in the series- proving relationships somehow don't work out for him.
Chandler likes to be known as the joke maker of the group and is always making jokes at inappropriate times, he has a job as a executive in statistical analysis and data reconfiguration which again the group don't take much notice off, he later marries Monica.
Joey is the struggling actor who becomes famous for his role on Days of our Lives as Dr. Drake Ramoray, he tends to be a hit with the ladies, with his good looks and charm, but at the same time is the thicker one of the group.

After winning 7 emmys, 1 golden globe, and 2 SAG, Awards it's no wonder this sitcom is so popular, with it's final show raking in 52 million viewers.

I am sad to admit that when it did come to an end i did shed a little tear, so the following christmas when my partner brought me the box set i was so happy, picking out which episode i wanted to watch filled my joy-sad i know!! But my partner never being a big fan couldn't understand why i went potty for the show, he had watched it a few times but never really payed much attention, then one day he asked if we could start watching the series from the beginning so i agreed, thinking it wouldn't take to long before he got bored and after about a week of watching a couple of episodes he got hooked!! i nearly fainted with shock to say the least, that was about a year ago and every night at 8.00clock he sit's down and watches it on E4.

I did hear rumours not long after they finished the show that they would be bringing a movie out to comemorate the series., but so far have not heard anymore about it,it would be great if they did so come on guys do it for the nations sake! we want you back on our screens
