Advantages: brilliant comedy for all the family

Disadvantages: it's come to an end and isn't being made anymore

Friends was an extremely popular American sitcom that has unfortunately come to an end now, although myself, and I'm sure many other fans do too, still have my fingers crossed for a reunion!
This show followed the many aspects of the gang of friends' lives. Their relationships, careers, social lives and everything in between.

The main characters are:

Ross (David Schwimmer)
Rachel (Jennifer Aniston)
Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow)
Monica (Courtney Cox-Arquette)
Chandler (Matthew Perry)
Joey (Matt Le Blanc)

Ross is a professor who works in a museum and teaches students. Rachel works in the fashion industry. Phoebe is a masseuse, and also a part time musician in 'Central Perk' (coffee house) who sings songs such as 'Smelly Cat'. Monica is head chef at a restaurant and known for her obsessive cleaning and organising. Nobody quite knows what Chandler does although it involves numbers and an office! Finally, Joey is an actor who stars in fictional daytime soap opera 'Days Of Our Lives'.
It's such a shame that this show isn't being made anymore, it was fantastic!

Summary: Must see for everyone who appreciates good comedy
