Advantages: Funny, excting, get to know the characters.

Disadvantages: Some of the episodes and series were not as good as others.

Friends is a sitcom about six young friends in New York City in the United States of America. It features six main characters, the friends, who are:
Joey, played by Matt LeBlanc
Chandler, played by Matthew Perry
Ross, played by David Schwimmer
Phoebe, played by Lisa Kudrow
Rachel, played by Jennifer Aniston, and
Monica, played by Courtney Cox (Arquette).

There are ten series' of Friends, each with 24 episodes, and they are avialable to buy on video, or now I think only on DVD. The final series was made about three yars ago I think, but there is talk of there being one more episode.

The series' follow the lives of the six friends, and their relationships with one another, with their families, and with the people that they date, and, especailly in Ross's case, marry!

I think that some of the series and some of the episodes are better than other ones. For example, I think that the first and the tenth series are both great, but that the third and the eighth series could be better. However, there is one guarantee- the high quality of the acting. I should expect that too- the cast were paid a staggering amount for each episode by the end of the tenth series.

Summary: A good laugh and a nice way to spend twenty minutes or so.
