Advantages: You can watch them over and over again!

Disadvantages: That they no longer are making anymore series!

Sadly enough Friends took over my life for 10 whole years! I grew up with it through my teenage years and was absolutely obsessed!

Friends first aired on NBC in America in 1994. The genius behind this American Sit-com is David Crane and Marta Kauffman. All in all there were 10 series, all of which were based around a group of 6 friends, Ross, Chandler and Joey represented the boys and Monica, Rachel and Phoebe the girls. Let me tell you a little bit about each character:

Rachel Green is played by Jennifer Aniston - she is Monica's best friend since high school and is obsessed with fashion. Throughout the entire series her and Ross have an on/off relationship, with various highs and lows!

Monica Geller is played by Courteney Cox Arquette - she is the one always fussing over everyone else, and by nature is obsessed with cleanliness and order! Not only this but she is also highly competitive!

Phoebe Buffay is played by Lisa Kudrow - she is the most eccentric of all the characters. She is not only a masseuse but also a singer in the local coffee house Central Perk. Her wacky song titles include Smelly Cat, My Sticky Shoe & Jigle B*tch to name but a few! Phoebe also has an evil twin sister called Ursula!

Joey Tribbiani is played by Matt LeBlanc - Joey is obsessed with two things, food and women! He is a struggling womanizing actor, who has a tendancy to be a little dopey sometimes!

Chandler Bing is played by Matthew Perry - Chandler is best known for his sarcastic sense of humour! Chandler and Joey during the first few series our flatmates and the combination of the two is hilarious!

Ross Gellar is played by David Schwimmer - Ross is a paleontologist and is probably most reckognised for being ever so slightly boring and obsessed with marriage!

Throughout the entire 10 series there are many star appearences by some increbibly famous faces, a couple for example would be :

Tom Selleck
Christina Applegate
Brad Pitt
Ben Stiller

The list could go on.......

As a brief summary the show follows the lives of the above characters, it will definately make you laugh, and if you are like me it will also make you cry!
