Advantages: Unique, hilarious, doesn't get old or boring.

Disadvantages: Only 10 seasons were made.... :(, we would all have loved to have seen more

I know that many people have already reviewed this television show and I'm sure that most people in the world who have access to a television, will have probably seen an episode already. Such is the impact of this hit US show. 5 years after the show's final episode, re-runs are continually shown on the TV.

Friends is my favourite sitcom for a simple reason: The characters. The way in which all of the 6 unique character interact is great and by the end of the 10th series you will really feel as if you have known the characters personally. None of the characters really get annoying as there is a perfect balance of focusing on all the different characters. Chandler is the one who makes the jokes, who the audience will laugh with, while Ross is the unfortunate one who the audience will laugh at. Pheobe is an odd person who comes up with very random ideas to keep the show fresh, Monica is very high maintenance and generally keeps everything in order, while the simple Joey does his best to mess it up and Rachel is the slightly spoilt one who adds a lot of emotion to the series.

In conclusion, if you haven't seen Friends yet, you should really see what all the fuss is about, it is a unique show that has stood the test of time and will certainly be enjoyed by future generations as well.
