David Crane and Marta Kauffman are the people to thank for the brilliant comedy that is Friends. After making the hit show Dream On, they created Friends. So Marta and David are the people behind Friends, but what about the stars of the New York based show?
* Courtney Cox Arquette, who plays Monica Gellar, the super tidy sister of Ross. Courtney was born on the 15th of June 1964 in Alabama. She originally planned to become an architecht, but got her showbiz break when she appeared in Bruce Springsteens 1984 'Dancing in the Dark' video.

*David Schwimmer, who plays Ross Gellar, the palentoligist brother of Monica. He was born on 6th November 1966 in New York City. West Side Story was his first acting job.

*Matt Le Blanc, plays Joey Tribbiani, the on/off actor, was born on July 25th 1967 in Massachusetts. He is the only child of his Italian immigrant mum.

*Jennifer Aniston, who plays Rachel Green, the flirty waitress, was born on the 11th Febuary 1969 in Los Angeles. She is married to Brad Pitt.

*Lisa Kudrow, plays Phoebe Buffay, the massager, was born on the 30th of July 1963. Lisa has sufferd from migranes most opf her life.

*Matthew Perry who plays Chandler Bing, who has an on/off relationship with Monica on screen. Matthew loves British television, especially Fawlty Towers.

Probably the most famous place in Friends(after the appartments), is Central Perk, the coffee house. Many of the friends scenes are filmed in here.

Noboby thought that the small sitcom about 6 friends living in New York would turn in to the massive comedy it is today. It certainly launched the Friends stars' careers and bank balances!

The question on everyones lips now is is there going to be another series or is this the end for Friends?
