A Bit of Fry and Laurie is a brilliant comedy sketch show which is as hilarious today as it was all those years ago when it originally aired. The show features Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie who are both fantastic on their own but together prove to be a comedy due whose genius in my opinion has never been matched and may never be bettered. Fry and Laurie are both supremely intelligent people and this sketch show is a brilliant stage where they can both use the intelligence and high classes they come from to make jokes about those below them but in most of their sketches they in fact use this point as the joke on themselves as well as an obvious excuse to wear womens clother and speak in posh voices. The comedy in this to some may seem dated but I still love the show and watch it and am still amazed at how two such intelligent people from higher classes are able to show that they are just like us normal folk and make people fall for their charm and wit with each sketch.

Summary: Fry and Laurie show that being clever does not mean you can't be funny too
