If you have never seen Futurama you have missed out because it is an absolutely brilliant show and never fails to make me laugh. It is an animated american sci-fi sitcom and hit our screens in 1999.

It was created by Matt Groening for the Fox Network. The story centres on character Philp J Fry who was cryogenically frozen for a thousand years.

He then gets a job at Planet Express in the 31st century. There have been over 88 episodes made to date.

There are several different unusual characters including Leela (The purple haired one eyed mutant), Bender (Frys robot roommate), Professor Hubert (Frys nephew) and Amy Wong (an intern at Planet Express)

These are only some of the amazing characters and every episode there is a great new story that will really keep you entertained.

If you are a fan of Family Guy or American Dad, you should give Futurama a go as it is brilliant. Its now one of my favourite animated shows and i cant wait to collect all of the boxsets.

As it is set in the 31st century, it is really funny to see the way the writers portray life in the future. It is set in New York where a new town has been built over the "old" New York.

The show is really intelligently written and relys on a lot of slapstick and surreal humour. If you ever need a good laugh, watch this show :)
