If you have never heard of or watched Game on, it is hilarious and never fails to make me laugh when im feeling sad. It is a television sitcom featuring three 20 something characters. Firstly is Mandy (Samantha Janus) who is a career girl and self confessed man eater. She envys those further up the career ladder than herself and is a possible nymphomaniac. Game On was a British sitcom that only ran for three seasons from 1995 to 1998. It told the daily lives of three friends living in a flat in Battersea in London, and was full of humourous one-liners which were normally reflective of a chauvinist male society typical in the 1990s. Matt Malone was the owner of the flat, and leased it out to Martin and Mandy. For the first season, Ben Chaplin played Matt, a highly strung agoraphobic who liked to battle his fears by pretending he went out a lot, and by insulting fellow housemate Martin, by calling him a 'tosser' and teasing his ginger hair. Matt acted cool, but the impression was of a more insecure character than ... Read the complete review

In my view, "Game On" was one of the great British sitcoms, and just bought series 2&3 from an Amazon reseller for 23p including postage. Second Matt currently stealing the show in "Boeing Boeing" in West End, along with the statuesque lady (and total genius) comic star of "Smack the Pony". Funniest thing I ever saw on a London stage. Samantha Janus will be a top totty when she's 60, and "the ginger tosser" was a brilliant creation. A demain mes ... Read the complete review

I was lucky enough to catch the very first episode of Game On, when it was first aired on BBC 2 during the mid to late 90?s ( Not sure of the exact date ), and at a time when there were not many good new comedies about, this was a breath of fresh air. Firstly, I can understand why there are many who dislike this comedy so much. For one, the language is a little on the crude side, although there is not much in the show that is not heard day in and day out at work, or in the local pub. Although I admit that ?Shut up you ginger tosser? is probably not heard all that often. What I immediately liked about the show, was the fact that it was centered mainly ... Read the complete review

Another comedy about people that share a flat, seems like an endless concept of writing humour about flatmates reached new levels! This one is about 3 people that share a flat, one is the Landlord and the other 2 are his lodgers, 2 blokes and 1 girl. There are 3 main charecters in this comedy. 1. Matt Malone ~ He is the landlord of the flat, however, since his parents were both killed in a car accident some years ago and he became an agrophobic, which leads to him doing some strange stuff to relieve his boredom, from dressing as his favourite film characters to pretending to be a spy on a secret mission (all in the space of his own home!) ...
