The Garfield. My favourite species of cat. Obnoxious, orange, fat, hunger-mad, powercrazy, racist towards dogs...and somehow comes off as the most loveable furball on tv. I find this cartoon a bit different from other cartoons. Garfield uses sophisticated vocabulary for the more mature fans, and has the endless cartoon slpstick for the kiddies. Most cartoons are jam-packed with pretty drawn cartoons and flashing lighs and action. Most are made for kids. Kids only. They hold no value of wit at all. No storyline, just loads of people getting repeatedly hurt. Garfield is different. It has a good stable storyline and you know, that Garfield haste complete ...

Garfield – well, he’s a cartoon cat. If you were holidaying on the Moon about 15 years ago, you won’t have heard of him, but most people of my generation grew up with the cartoon moggie, either through watching the animation on TV, reading the endless cartoon books, or reading the strips in Daily newspapers. If reading about the marmalade-coloured creature was not your scene, then perhaps you might have purchased a stick-on-Garfield for the back passenger side window of your Ford Cortina. yep... another lame attempt at doing the catchy theme tune that this cool show had. This show as great because of the way it captured the very essence of comedy that the comic strips had. Everything is seen in a pretty 2d flat manner, so it does actually view like a comic strip brought to life! THe main section of the show involves Garfield the fat cat and his dog-buddy Odie. Jon, garfield's "owner" can be pitied for his pets' behaviour... they have cost him many a date and lots of money in damages too! The other section of the show involves a farm. It featured Orson the PIg, a duck and all the other usual farm animals...including a ...
