Well I actually suggested the xmas edition for this category but Dooyoo seem to have just added the TV show so I will review that instead.
Gavin and Stacey is a great little comedy that has become a big hit and has now completed two series and a xmas one hour special this year. The story revolves around a relationship between Gavin, a young Essex boy who lives with his parents and Stacey who lives with her mother in Barry Island. The two work for the same company but in different offices and form a relationship over te phone, the first episode is all about them meeting for the first time in London and from then on in they have a fast paced roller coaster relationship.
The real comedy characters though are their two best friends, Smithy a fat lad who is very funny in the way he acts and brassy Welsh girl Ness, a large lady who seems to have lived a rather full life, at first the two cannot stand each other but after a few drinks they jump into bed together, it is a real lust hate relationship.
This is a very funny comedy that just gets better and better, Gavin mother is hilarious and Rob Brydon plays Stacey Uncle Bryn in his usual deadpan style.
Summary: Great comedy
