What a refreshing and quirky sitcom this is!. The episodes revolve around Gavin & Staceys eventful lovelife and their circle of friends and family. The cast are all great and each show is masterfully penned by the writers. The characters are all charming in their own way, with Smithy stealing the show with his clingy friendship with Gavin and cheeky sense of humour. Ness, played by Ruth Jones(Little Britain, Fat Friends, Nighty Night) who plays Stacey's sister in the show is always entertaining and injects her own brand of dry humour to proceedings. Each episode leaves you in anticipation for the next and would definately be worth watching on DVD to get the full benefit of the superb character development.

If you are tired of the same old cheesy sitcoms flooding our screens and are lookng for something original and involving I would highly recommend you give this show a watch.... I promise you wont regret it.

Summary: What a gem of a sitcom!
