Advantages: humorous and stylish

Disadvantages: stop doing any more

Before I moved to the UK, I heard British parents and their grown up children are very independent . They don't interfere in the personal affairs of each other. I thought it would be a kind of 'cold' relationship between them.

After I watched Gavin & Stacey, I changed my mind. The relationship between them are very much closer than I thought. It's just different from what I was used to.

The story started from a pair of young lovers, Gavin and Stacey. They knew each other because of a business telephone contact. Then they fell in love and got married quickly.

Around them, many people involved, including Gavin's parents , his friends, especially his best friend, Stacey's mother, her uncle, her best friend, and their neighbors, etc. Funny stories developed.

When I watched I felt it really happened in my life. They were close as my neighbors. So funny, so easygoing. It's from people's life and made you feel it's really on. Their story might happen with yourself, some of your friends , or your parents. I think it's one reason that it was so popular last year till now.

When I watched it I felt I was more involved in the British society. I don't feel lonely anymore.

When I heard the series would stop doing more I felt so upset. It seemed I lost a good friend.

Summary: Suitable for all people.
