Gillette Soccer Special is a great way of experiencing all the drama and action of saturday afternoon football, when matches are not televised on skysports. Jeff Stelling has been doing it for years and still has that touch of creating suspense and excitement in his football debates with his panel, which generally consists of Charlie Nicolas, Matt Le Tissier, and Phil Thompson.

It is ashame Rodney Marsh is not still on the panel, because he was not only mr controversial but created a good banter and gossip, and always disagreed with the rest of the panel, and funnily enough was right more often then the others with his match predictions.

It is hilarious how the loudest screaming person on the panel watching the matches is the last to get Jeff's Stelling's attention! He is only interested in what he is talking about at the time and does not want anyone else interrupting him. He makes the viewer wait in suspense to find out the dramatic news in a big match.

After the match, during post match interviews, sometimes they shorten them. They should show the interview in full, especially when you get moaners like ferguson after manchester united have lost. Always great to hear his amusing rubbish he comes out with about how the referee cost them the game.

Summary: Who needs to watch the match when you got soccer saturday
