Advantages: good laugh, top interviews
Disadvantages: none
I love watching this show on Sky Sports 1 every Saturday afternoon, it’s a brilliant preview of all the top football action. The programme is presented by Jeff Sterling, who’s absolutely brilliant, he seems to have such a good knowledge on all the divisions. He his joined by three or four other football pundits. Like George Best, Rodney Marsh, Clive Allen, Chris Kamara any more top names. They always enjoy a laugh whilst they go through the afternoon’s fixtures. They have top interviews from the top matches and have a round up of all the week’s goals. My husband often enjoys a bet on the top football fixtures so it’s a great way of getting some tips, most of the pundits are right in their predictions but sometimes they are totally off the mark. When the games start, the pundits then do commentary of the matches, every so often Jeff Sterling goes to them to get updates throughout the games. At the bottom of the screen all the goals which are being scored are being shown, the system is quite fast and it’s a good way to keep up to date with you’re team and to see if they have scored. At the right hand side of the screen they have all the division scores, so you can keep up to date with all the scores from all the leagues. I think it’s so brilliant the way the scores flash on the screen a second or two after they have been scored. And you don’t miss a thing because even when they go to a break you can keep up to date as the scores still flash on. My favourite pundit is Rodney Marsh, he’s so controversial and always enjoys a good argument with Frank McLintoff, who he’s always interrupting. Last season he had to have his hair shaved off because he said Bradford would get relegated and when they stayed up he stuck to his word and had his hair shaven in front of the Bradford fans.. I thought he was a good sport. Th show comes on every Satur
day during the football season and sometimes they have specials on week nights if there’s top football on. A great place to keep up to date with the day’s football actions. And they show division 1 goals at around 6pm.
