This is a quirky enjoyable TV show from America that charts the relationship between mother and daughter in middle America in the cute town of Stars Hollow.

Lorelai Gilmour is played by Lauren Graham, she is a single mother in her mid thirties and she has a teenage daughter Rory who is played by Alexis Bledel. The mother is a bit of a rebel having rejected her priveledged upbringing for the life of a single mum.
Due to the need to have money to educate her bright daughter she has been forced back into the famlies arms and much of the humour comes from her own relationship with her domineering moher.


Scott Patterson playing the characer of Luke Danes provides the love interest for Lorelei and there are a host of other strange characters in the show.

I enjoyed watching this when it was on, the writing is nice and sharp, there are some nice humourous touches and it is entertaining.

There is a certain tweeniss about the characters in a wholesome American way but it is a light hearted comic drama that American TV makers do so well.

Summary: Nice enough drama
