Disadvantages: The bad presenting

I watch this every morning and I find it very informative however I do have a few gripes....

I find that the news stories are always very dramatically told. The credit crunch recently has been really over done. We all know what is happening but all the doom and gloom is really shoved down our throats!

Some of the presenters are annoying too...Fiona Phillips really isnt a good presenter and says some really daft things but isnt she married to the editor...Kate Garraway is all teeth veneers and all she does is watch herself in the camera and talks over everybody else! Ben Shephard is very smug but he does present better than Fiona. The weather girls always seem to be in some fashion show. I like John Stapleton who is a northerner and says exactly what he thinks which makes for a good interviewer. Penny Smith is a good presenter and interviewer also but has a funny side which is a tonic when all the news is quite bad at the moment. Thats why I probably am just interested in the news hour which runs from 6-7 am.

All in all I think it is a very informative programme but I just wish they would give the better presenters more air time especially for John, Penny and Richard Gaisford who is also good. I will continue to watch this as it is the best programme in its time slot.
