Golden Balls is a game show which is played on ITV, weekdays at 5pm. It is British and is hosted by Jasper Carrott. The main aim of the game is letting the contestants do whatever they like either cheating or telling the truth and only tow out of the four will make it to the final showdown! The game consists of four rounds and also four contestants. The first round involves a computer with 100 balls with cash amounts ranging from £10 to £75000 choosing 12 balls at random and then the assistant (often a very attractive blonde!) will add four of the dreaded killer balls. The balls, mixed up will be dispersed to the four ...  Read the complete review

Golden Balls is a game show broadcast on ITV1 at teatime on weekdays. It is presented by comedian Jasper Carrot, but with the wealth of game shows around at the moment, how does this compare? Well I personally think it's rather different from what else is out there & is based not only on luck but also who else you think you can trust. The show starts with 4 contestants each being given a set of five balls. The balls are either sums of money or kliller balls. Two of each player's balls are visible to everyone, whilst the other three are not. So the player must say what he/she has got but of course they may not be telling the truth. The aim is to ...  Read the complete review

I am not a big fan of game shows and will avoid watching them most of the time but Goldenballs is one that I really enjoy watching, and if I happen to catch just five minutes of it then thats it I'm hooked and I end up watching the whole show. Goldenballs is on ITV at 5pm and is hosted by Jasper Carrot. It isn't on all of the year and is replaced by other shows from time to time but it must be a popular show because it keeps returning for new series. The show has four contestants who are given four goldenballs. The goldenballs either contain cash amounts or killers. In the first round 12 balls are cash balls leaving 4 killer balls to find. Each ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Entertaining stuff (365 words)

Goldenballs is an ITV gameshow which has been running since 2008, and has been a staple in it's 5pm slot ever since, though Goldenballs did disappear for a break a while ago, and overall i think it's entertaining stuff with a great twist at the end. The premise of the gameshow is abit like Poker, keeping "your hand" a secret and usually distorting the truth to achieve success in the game, but instead this is in the form of balls. There are 3 rounds in this game, each time dwindling the number of contestants in the game from 4 to the eventual 2, each round has a different premise. In the first premise of the show, 4 goes to 2 and ...  Read the complete review

Golden Balls is a Tv gameshow that is shown on ITV 1 at 5.00 pm daily and is hosted by Jasper Carrot. The game involves four players sitting and facing off against each other in a circle, while at the same time having to trust one another. Each person is given four Golden Balls, each with either a different money amount or a killer ball. The aim of the game is to get the most amount of money though each round and remove as many killer balls as possible. At the end of each round the contestants have the opportunity to choose who they want eliminated from the game. But before the players have the chance to chose who they want to eliminate from the ...  Read the complete review
