Advantages: Steps back and really takes the rip out of the culture surrounding both Britain and Indian stereotypes.

Disadvantages: Some scenes drag on past the end of the funny parts.

Goodness Gracious Me is a show performed almost completly by four Indian actors/actresses. It is a great programme which shows through comedy the oddities in the Indian culture and the great social and religious rifts that divide the country.
Anyway, back on the comedy side, there are some great sketches, especially with the two boasting mothers and the two rebel teenagers.
If you were lucky enough to see the special episode when the team went back to India, you will have seen some really good examples of their work.
However, the show saometimes suffers from sketches that go on past their quality date and some that should never have got onto the show at all and just ruin it. Overall GGM is a great show for the family as for the most part it is perfectly clean
