Advantages: Takes you htrough a project from start to finish

Disadvantages: The series doesn't run for long enough!

Grand Designs is probably the best show on TV. I am interested in studying interior design & also want to build a house in Spain in the future so I watch it every week without fail (and also the repeats!).

Kevin Mc Cloud is an excellent presenter and is always honest with people. The show is about people building, renovating or converting houses in the UK or abroad. Kevin is passionate about architecture and is not afraid to admit when he is wrong. The programme is realistic and shows the highs and lows of building. It is great to see a project finished and how creative people are.

The projects are varied every week and there is no sense of repetition. Kevin took the show one step further in 2008 when he presented Grand Designs Live. He built a house in a week and there was a programme very night. Kevin's personality shines through in every programme and he has strong opinions that he will share with people.

I love this show!!!
