Sue Hickson has developed quite a name for herself in terms of TV writing. Following the success of Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps, she turns her pen to this funny and quirky drama, Grownups, featuring Sheridan Smith from 2 Pints as the main character Michelle. Michelle and her friends are a group of twentysomethings trying to make something of their lives in the real world. Being a fan of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, I was quite looking forward to watching Grown Up's which is written by Sue Nickson, the writer of Two Pints and also contains some of the Two Pints cast. Grown Up's is about a group of friends that are in there mid to late 20's and are having to face the prospect that they are actualy growing up, but in their heads this is something that they don't want to do. It is now currently in the second series, aired on BBC3 at 10:30 on Tuesdays and repeated on a Monday at 9:30 on the same channel.
