Harry Enfield is one of the best comedies that is shown on our screens today. Most of his sketches relate to our lives today which is what makes them so funny. We are able to relate our own lives to what he is performing. I particularly like his gay sketches. They are hilariously funny. Harry plays the part of always 'putting his ...  Read the complete review

Harry Enfield and chums is a show which has many characters in it and all are different and based on different groups of people. Most of the characters are based on stereotypes which is funny but not really at all offensive. My favoutite character like many others ha to be Kevin. He is the reluctant lazy teenager who hates his parents. His famous ...  Read the complete review

Harry Enfield has to be one of the true masters of modern comedy television shows. He uses stereotyped characters and just plays them to maximum effect, best shown in my favourite, the Tim nice but dim sketches. These have to include some of the funniest scenes of all time especially if you were lucky enough to see the special devoted to Tim nice ...  Read the complete review

Harry Enfield and Chums is a very, very amusing comedy show comprised of a series of short sketches with several very popular characters and stereotypical scenarios. The cast and writers consists of Kathy Burke, Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse. These characters include; Kevin and Perry in a very stereotypical (and as a teenager unfair) teenage ...  Read the complete review

Harry Endfield and Chums is a must for all fans who love comedy at its best!!! I was very Disappointed that Harry Endfield and Chums moved its programmes from BBC1 to Sky One!! Some of the funniest skechtes must be 'Kevin and Perry' and 'The Slobs'!! This is mainly funny as Harry Endfield takes the 'mick' out ...  Read the complete review

Harry Enfield and chums is a brilliant programme. I think it makes it more funny as all the characters are the same people but dressed up differently. The comedy of the show is stupidity so you have to have a wild sence of humer to enjoy it. In my opinion the best act is Kevin and Perry because they are stereotypical teenagers, Kevin as Harry ...  Read the complete review

One of the best if not thee best show that has been on television for years. It has everything from taking the mickey out of rich people down to the slobs. Most characters are well thought of and well put across as they seem real to life. The slobs characters to Kevin, which they made a great film out of, and even earlier ones such as ...  Read the complete review

I love Harry Enfield, although I admit, too much can get on your nerves. But in small doses, especially at Christmas, it's a great thing to watch. My favourite, and probably most people favourite set of sketches are the 'Kevin' sketches. So true to life, I don't see how anybody can't laugh their heads off at these! ...  Read the complete review

I hate to judge a new series on the first show, but I must confess That the new Harry Enfield series on sky One is dire. Not one of the characters was a patch on any of Harrys previous incarnations. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted to like it and I really wanted to laugh but there was nothing to laugh at. The Jeremy Paxman was just crude ( ...  Read the complete review

I don't know about spanking new Harry Enfield but spanking bottom would be more appropriate after watching Harry Enfield's new comedy programme on Monday 10pm on Sky 1. What has seriously happened? Kevin and Perry are the best two characters on the programme, well maybe apart from the slobs... anyway I think a film with all the characters involves would be hilarious and I know I would be first in the queue to see it. Harry's last film (Kevin and Perry Go Large) was excellent and I can't wait the buy the film. A new series has just ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bad Scousers! (95 words)
by - written on 30/08/00 (Not useful, 1797 readings)
Rating:

Harry Enfield & Chums has the worst impression of scousers ever. He thinks they all go round with Liverpool Shirts on, having a hairstyle with a comparison of Scary Spice and a huge moustache. Well I sorry but they don’t. It maybe funny to those outsiders but it is really ridiculous, and when people say scousers have a chip on their shoulder ...  Read the complete review

Harry Enfield and Chums is a really funny sketch shoW. Harry Enfield has many talents, including being able to act as about 10 different people on his sketch show. The funniest sketches are Kevin and the Slobs. The 2 Old Gits are good aswell. I really can't stand the sketches with the 2 blokes in the pub and the Michael Payne ones, they just ...  Read the complete review

I was quite a fan of Harry Enfield, back when he was first about. I can’t say the same now, unfortunately, but for the sake of my younger self, I have to congratulate this programme for filling a great number of what would otherwise have been very boring half hours with jokes. He can do characters well, that’s his skill. I heard him ...  Read the complete review

Maybe this is the secret behind Harry Enfield's characters - they are so closely observed that we feel like we've really met them before! Kevin has become a byword for the teenage son....as in "he's a real Kevin!" and so accurately and hilariously portrayed so as to almost be enough to relax a stressed mum of a teenage ...  Read the complete review
