Harry Hill s TV Burp Reviews

Newest Review: ... (from throughout British television, not just ITV) and point out the most funniest moments, most usually taken out of context. It is quite a simple method but more often than not leaves me laughing whole-heartedly. The programmes usually used in this programme are soaps such as Eastenders, dramas and the reality tv shows that are on at the time. There are times where he makes running jokes on themes, characters or phrases in the programmes. The one that comes to mind most readily was when he poked fun at Phil Mitchell exasperating a lot. It sounds simple and not very funny, but he turns it into gold. He also takes some of these runnin... more

In any other circumstance I don't find Harry Hill funny, however in TV Burp he is one of the funniest men on tv at the moment. It can venture into being too silly at times but I forgive these parts for the hilarity he does bring. I would argue that the frequency of his more silly moments are increasing which I do find decrease the quality of the show. However it is still a really funny programme that I try never to miss. TV Burp is a 30 minute show on ITV, most usually on an early Saturday evening. The aim of the show is to take clips of tv shows (from throughout British television, not just ITV) and point out the most funniest moments, most usually taken out ... Read the complete review

Harry Hill is without doubt one of my favourite comedians and a number of years ago I had the privilege of seeing his live stand up show which was fantastic. Despite the fact that he is obviously a very intelligent man his brand of comedy can honestly be described as fairly silly and maybe a little childlike at times, but this is in my opinion is very refreshing in a world where performers often rely on tremendous amounts of swearing or references to more adult subjects. TV Burp can for this reason be shown in the early evening to be viewed by young and old alike and it really is probably the only programme I watch regularly on ITV apart from sports. The ... Harry Hill has been around for so many years it's hard to remember when he actually started out as a comedian and I have always found him pretty funny and his TV programme Harry Hill's TV Burp aired on ITV is no exception and is great light hearted fun. At times it's hilarious and most of the time very stupid and strange. Harry Hill is your host of the show, which looks at the week's TV programmes. If you remember that is like Points of View used to do years ago with Anne Robinson, but the difference was that Points of View was alot more serious and featured letters from members of the public. In this programme Harry Hill takes a much funnier approach to the ... Read the complete review

I've been a fan of Harry Hill for many years; my dad first introduced me to him when Harry was doing standup, I think on Comedy Cental. Anyway, how this man fails to raise a smile on anyones face I do not know, he is absolutly hilarious! Everything he does is fantastic. And so is TV Burp. I don't watch any of the soaps but that doesn't mean I don't laugh, entriely the opposite. The programs I have watched during the week that come up on TV Burp never fail to make me laugh, it's amazing how we miss all the little funnys in them! We have it on series link on Sky + and we're all gutted now it's finished until Autumn. A real winnner and Harry deserves all the ... Read the complete review

So, it's saturday night and you're staying in...what to watch???... Harry Hill's TV burp? Personally i'd say yes! It's become something of a tradition in my house to watch it. It's on ITV at 7.30pm and is also repeated on sundays. The show shows clips from TV shows from the past week. Harry Hill makes some sort of funny comment and then we see a clip from TV relating to this. The things we see are pretty funny and I find myself in fits of laughs. There are some common themes in the programme that do get a bit annoying after time though, for example there is a section before the break where they have seen two things and Harry says ...
