Harry Hill s TV BurpNewest Review: ... silly) observations about particular clips, such as observing how a convoluted conveyor belt-line of vienna ice-creams looks almost exactly like German WW2 Tanks advancing on Poland for example. The advert break always features a daft little sequence in which two features items from the show go head to head to head to find out which is the greatest, with including an audience-participation shout of "FIGHT!", whilst the show always culminates in a song and dance number normally performed by some guest or over who has just been lampooned throughout the episode. The show employs Harry Hill's own trademark comedy device of bu... more |

Easily one of the best shows currently on TV, Harry Hill's TV Burp sees the surrealist big-collared comedian playfully take the mickey out of the weeks TV, getting edited into soaps and documentaries and making some very clever (and wonderfully silly) observations about particular clips, such as observing how a convoluted conveyor belt-line of vienna ice-creams looks almost exactly like German WW2 Tanks advancing on Poland for example. The advert break always features a daft little sequence in which two features items from the show go head to head to head to find out which is the greatest, with including an audience-participation shout of "FIGHT!", ... Watching TV Burp was the 1st time of encountering Harry Hill. From the 1st time I saw him I enjoyed his humour and I thought the show concept was fab! The show has been goign for a good number of seasons now and is as popular as ever. Harry Hills TV Burb is on ITV1 on a saturday around 6-7pm. It differs depending on what's on before and after but is usualy on around tis time slot. It is also for the whole family and isn't too rude for younger viewers. Harry Hill leads the show of the weeks telly clips. He has a great way of making the clips funny and rips fun out of soap stars, reality tv stars and just about everyone else really. There is a ... I always thought of the man who is Harry Hill as really, really anoying. I had heard of this show years ago, but always gave it a wide berth. However, since I can be often at my sister in laws around the time this is on the tv, and I see the odd bit of it, when the new series came on I decided to record it. My Hubby was in the same mind state as I was, thinking it was a load of rubbish - which it kinda is, but it is a bit mindless humour which is what we need every now and again. The show is on Saturdays at 5.30 on ITV1. It is repeated a few times through the week as well, but not sure when it is repeated. The show lasts for 30 minutes and has 1 break in ... If you're a fan of a slapstick style of comedy, then the chances are that you'll probably go for something like Harry Hill's TV Burp. Shown on ITV on Saturday nights, and repeated on Sunday nights, it is now into its 9th season, and has won awards for its comedy. Essentially, it is a show, fronted by comedian Harry Hill, which takes various clips from the week's TV shows, and puts an often funny twist on it, pointing out rather obscurely funny things we may not have noticed. It seems to be a rather 'marmite' sort of show, with many people loving it, and finding it hilarious, but another equally large percentage of people finding it dull and dross. I ... If you have never heard of Harry Hills Tv Burp, it is a television comedy programme hosted by brilliantly funny comedian Harry Hill. I had always just assumed he wasnt funny as i had heard a few friends say he was rubbish. Since the first time i watched this show, i have loved it and it never fails to make me laugh. There have been nine series of the show and nearly a hundred episodes of it. I wish i had ... Read the complete review
