Harry Hill's TV Burp is a 30 minute TV show broadcast on Saturday evenings, on ITV1. It's a humourous run down of the past week on TV as seen through Hill's eyes & is one of my TV highlights of the week.

I think that Hill has a sense of humour which you either love or hate; as you will see from the rating of this review, I really appreciate his satirical sarcastic yet slightly childish form of comedy. The show is broadcast in the early evening slot, and although some of the jokes may bypass the younger audience members, however I do think that the show has something to offer all members of the family, young & old.

You can usually guarantee a good helping of light-hearted soap opera-bashing, with a few characters featuring as a common theme over the weeks, as well as some gentle mocking of other light-entertainment shows. It really is the perfect excuse to indulge in a little weekend silliness, and judging from countless nominations over the years at events such as the National TV Awards, it looks like many people agree with me!
