Harry Hill's TV Burp is a weekly round up of clips from soaps, dramas and documentaries shown during the previous week. I have to say that prior to watching this show I was in two minds about whether I liked Harry Hill. I had seen him on previous shows and found him a bit too surreal and slightly creepy! But in this show he is really good. He finds so much humour in the simplest things by pointing out what else a character in a programme might be reacting to so that the clip is in a completely different context. It is difficult to explain really so I would advise you just to watch it and you'll see what I mean. Also, once you've seen his mocking of a clip from an ongoing show, you will really laugh the next time you see that show. An example of this is Harry pointing out the weird grimace and lip-licking thing Eoghan on X Factor did every time Dermott was encouraging us to vote for him. Ever since seeing that I couldn't stop myself cracking up every time he was onscreen during X Factor! There is also a healthy dose of slapstick comedy in each TV Burp resulting in Harry being covered in custard or some other sort of goo. It's a really funny show and it's very different from anything else on TV at the moment. It's done with love rather than cynicism and I'd recommend it to anyone.
