Advantages: Get up to date with the news in a more entertaining way.

Disadvantages: It's only 30 mintues long.

I have been a keen viewer of "Have I Got News For You" for quite a while now; for me it is a great way to keep in touch with the news and at the same time have a good laugh. It is shown weekly for 30 minutes on BBC 2 between 9pm and 10pm.

It's two presenters, who appear each week, are Ian Hislop and Paul Merton who together create great comedy and have a very extensive knowledge of news stories around the world. Ian Hislop is editor of the magazine "Private Eye" and has a very good knowledge base of politics whilst Paul Merton is a quit witted comedian. Each week there are 3 different people who join them varying from Rolf Harris to Borris Johnson. There is supposedly a points system in place which chooses a winning team by the end however, these seem to been given out and have no real role to play in the show.

I recommend that you watch this if you like quick wit humour and would like to relax in the evening whilst keeping up with all the news of that week. Recently an extended version of the show called "Have I Got More News For You" has come about which is 45 minutes long and all the more funnier.

Summary: Watch it and you will love it.
