Have I got news for you is a brilliant show that has been a hugely successful since is started in 1990. The show is a comedy quiz show with two panels and a host. The host used to be Angus Deayton until he was sacked after controversy in the press about his private life. The regular panelist on the show are Ian Hislop and Paul Merton, they work well together after being on the show for so long. Merton's humour is brilliant, spontaneous and wacky and brings a light-hearted aspect to an edgy satirical show. The show takes the mickey out of everything and everyone, especially the BBC (the TV channel it is broadcast on) and were espeically ruthless to Angus Deayton just before he left the show. There have been a wide variety of guests on shows from politicians to celebrities. Whilst some have faired well some have not. Boris Johnson, london mayor, was a regular guest and regular made hilarious off the cuff remarks which he later got in trouble for. This is a great show which is one of the few satirical quiz shows that still has some real questions and is not just a series of prescripted jokes based around vague subjects. Great show that will make you laugh.

Summary: great hilarious satirical quiz show
