Advantages: Marco, celebs getting flustered.

Disadvantages: not long enough

I was once told that I was just like Marco Pierre White. Taking this as a compliment I mearly assummed that they were referring to how incredibly talented I am when working with food. Sadly this was not what they were getting at. I have recently discovered that it was more down to the fact that a lot of the time I say things which make no sense whatsoever! This is one way is what can make Marco's Hell's Kitchen so funny.

I never watched it when Gordan Ramsey was doing it. But since Marco has taken over I've become completely addicted to it.

Down to the fact that they've cut down the programme from what was 90 minutes to the hour, the amount of cooking where we actually got to see how they were doing it has been decreased. Appareantly due to the fact that ITV are 'skint' they couldn't afford to get any celebrities of a high standard. Not that celebrity reality shows do anyway! But hey, that's not why I watch it!

They have made little interviews in a diary style so you can hear what they have thought about so far. The most honest I have to say is Ade Edmondson. Never holding back on saying how he disliked Jody and Anthea Turner, (have to agree with that one.)

The celebrities get given a little task during the day, ranging from making swans out of meringues to cuting the head off of live eels and cooking crayfish. Naomi (Ms Dynamite) seems to of had a problem with the killing of live animals and it was quite ammusing when it was revealed to her that cockles were alive before she was putting them in the frying pan.

Marco has a somewhat calmer attitude to the work of the kitchen, aside from when he wants the food to be at the pass.
"Crab, crab crab. Where's my crab? Linda where's the crab. Crab, crab. Toast, toast toast. I want my toast!" Never fails to make me crack up! Something I will miss when it has finished.

The diners are more famous than most of the Hells Kitchen staff, but that doesn't mean they're not all too big for their boots. Some guy from G4 swearing because he hasn't gotten it into his head that veal was supposed to be a little bit pink. It's true to say that not all that many of them will come up to the pass and complain. Not when Marco has the tendency to just look at them and turn them to jelly.

This series is about to go into it's second week but for those who haven't tuned in already should still give it a try, weeknights at 9.

One thing I want to know is....what is going on with Marco's bandana.
