heroes: the good the bad and the almighty (Heroes)

Advantages: very well written, has a brilliant variation in characters and is good for all viewers

the best fantasy TV series around that is suitable for all ages. it begins with a few normal strangers, all of which who are interconnected in some way. these people soon discover they can do things no human beings should be capable of doing.

first is the man who can hear peoples thoughts, this police officer matt parkman uses his gift to rescue a small child and later on begins to realise the full extent of his gifts.

next is the girl who can't die, we first see her standing on top of a bridge preparing to jump, only after do we realise how special this girl is and the lengths that must be gone to to save her, and through her the world.
we then move on to the girl with the split personality, on one side she is sweet incocent nikky and on the other is jessica, a ruthless killer who will stop at nothing to save her son.

we then move on to nikki's husband, framed for murder and theft by jessica he is left running from the law and fighting to regain his family, his walking through walls was his way out of jail and the way in to his families lives.

hiro has the power of time travel and teleportation, we first see him sitting in his work booth staring at his clock trying to turn back the hands of time, and later trying to convince his sidekick ando that he can 'bend time and space'

we then have our seer, the man who paints the future, he plays a very big part in this series and is the one who shows both peter and hiro the way to their destiny.

we also have the politician that can fly, unknown to all but his younger brother peter.

Peter is the main person in this series, he appears to have all the powers that every1 else has, but only while he is around them. later on he finds a way to control his powers and gains a definate advantage on his rival Silar.

Silar is the bad guy in this series, he first appears as a murder, who is pursued bby the police, parkman soon descovers this criminal and later on he is encountered by claire and peter, who vows that he will protect her from him.

this is a very good series for everyone, even if fantasy is not usually your favourite genre. it is very well thought out and as the series progresses you begin to see how all the pieces fit together, this then grows even bigger in the later series. series four is just about to start as of this month and i would very much recomend people to watch it even if you have not seen the previous series.
