Newest Review: ... was whether anyone has actually been to all 50. I also wandered exactly how many hundreds of thousands of pounds you would need to complete the checklist! Also, what about all the beautiful places that were left out? Following the programme I do seem to remember that people were annoyed no british places were featured and quite a lot of frustration was reported of the fact that manmade Disney World and Las Vegas made it into the top 10. The one thought that the show did leave me with was that it is each to their own. A lot of the places mentioned I had not heard of and had no real desire to visit. It was a really fun show and did g... more

50 Things To See Before You Die. If that title doesn't get your attention then no travel show will! Every since I can remember, my Dad has gone out on a Tuesday evening, meaning that the family has to eat dinner a little earlier than normal. This has meant that every Tuesday I am stuck in front of the TV at 7pm with a tray of food on my lap and no opportunity to escape the terrors of the BBC Holiday programme. It isn't as if I am against holiday programmes as a whole, in fact I am someone who loves to read about and to plan future holidays. I have no rational excuse for hating ...  Read the complete review
