Advantages: On early at night, enjoyable and nice hunks to look at

Disadvantages: Some annoying storylines

I watch Hollyoaks every day and think it is really good; in fact it is my favourite soap. I like the way it tackles issues and doesn't shy away from making them realistic. It is about a group of teens - people in their mid-20s living in the village.

For example, Sasha and Fletch's decline into heroin addiction. At the beginning they thought they were glamorous and could control their use. Now they look dreadful and are stealing from friends and family, plus Sasha is sleeping with her dealer to get heroin.

Some of the storylines do annoy me, such as the one at the moment where Jack (pub landlord at The Dog pub) is faking his own death, but in general the issues are handled well like anorexia, gay storylines, priest struggling with his sexuality, surrogate mothers. The music is also excellent and I love the interior décor of the set.

It is on from 6.30pm - 7pm Monday to Friday and there is a preview episode on E4 every night.

Summary: Good soap that tackles serious issues with realism

I also love Hollyoaks I'm watching it at the moment! Good review, I also don't liek the storyline with Jack's faked death but the anorexia storyline was great and very realistic as I have knowledge of what that's like! xx
