Advantages: Watchable, sometimes amusing

Disadvantages: Instantly forgettable

I've just tuned in for the first time in years, wanting to see if anything had changed, whether it had got better or worse. Well its still what it was and always has been and if you like that kind of thing its brilliant if you don't then don't watch it.

Whats it all about?

Honestly I don't have a clue, there seemed to be somebody mistaking a brain tumour for being able to see aura's, a stroppy pretty girl, a sensitive pretty boy, a couple arguing with the overwhelming sense one of them will do something incredibly stupid like commit murder.

Theres a pretty girl whos a stripper another pretty girl whose with a pretty boy whose not very a nice a posh pretty boy and the odd ordinary looking person who provides a balance to the non-stop procession of beautiful people.

The stories do develop and there are some interesting social issues covered in some episodes.

To be honest the cast are all pretty young things who seem chosen more for looks than acting ability, I couldn't tell you particularly whose in it and I doubt many of the stars will move onto further acting jobs, they may end up presenting on T4 or modelling but we won't see many of them moving onto the RSC.

Is it worth watching

I personally think its really watchable, its formulaic and a conveyor belt of beautiful people but its facile, provides nice occasionally amusingly watchable tv and is a good diversion for 30 minutes, its best watched however on a Sunday morning with a steaming hangover, perfect hangover tv
