A fantastic comedy sitcom (Hope & Faith)

Advantages: Great fun to watch, very funny but also has some great drama

Disadvantages: Can go a bit over the top sometimes

Hope and Faith is an American comedy sitcom based around two sisters.
Hope Shanowski, the older sister is happily married living at home with her husband Charlie Shanowski and their 3 children, eldest daughter Sydney, middle child Hayley, and youngest child Justin. They are all happy, until Hope's younger sister Faith arrives that is.
Faith once worked on an American soap opera 'The Sacred and the Sinful' until her character, Ashley Storm, was killed off and now Faith has no money and no where to live so she visits her Sister and manages to persuade her and her family to let her live in their home.
From this moment on, Hope's live is changed around and faith always gets her into awkward and funny situations, sometimes involving one or more of Hope's children, or her husband.

Charlie does not like Faith living in his home and is always thinking of ways to get her to leave, but he never gets his wish as Faith always manages to get out of leaving in some way or another.
In one episode of season 2, we see Charlie and Justin converting the room over their garage into a 'man room' for themselves. Later on Charlie and Faith make a bet on who can let go off a phone they are both holding and they each bet on something precious to them. Faith bets her Emmy award, and Charlie bets his 'man room'. I'm sure you can guess what happens. Yep, Faith wins the bet and gets the 'man room' and converts it into her own bedroom.

I just love this show, its so funny and silly and great to watch. Each episode lasts about 20 minutes and there is 3 seasons with a total of 73 episodes.
At the minute no channels in the UK are showing Hope and Faith, and there is no DVD which is a shame but hopefully a channel will pick it up sometime.

If you are able to watch this anywhere, give it a go and i'm sure you will like it, but don't take it too seriously as some people seem to, as its not that sort of show.
