"Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we flatter to deceive." As is happening with every single member of the population of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, I am devouring every single nanosecond of the coverage of the General Election campaign with alacrity. Why, my very life depends on who says what, who has told whom to 'get stuffed', and who is promising to save me 50 pence per week in my pay packet- why, that could buy me 1/8 of a packet of ciggies!
