How i met your mother is one of those rare programs that falls into the catagory of the simpsons and friends among others that make you remember the characters and use their catchphrases almost everyday. We have Ted the man always looking for 'the one. Lily and Marshall the always together couple.Robin the sexually attractive room mate and of course possibly the greatest character on any tv program barney the womanizing suitor upper. These make the corner stone of the cast of possibly the funniest,most original tv program since friends way back when. The series revolves around a future ted telling his children the story of how he me their mother,hence the title, and is now in its 7th season and still going stronger than superman with no mention of what the mother is even called. everything about the show is fantastic the cast,the directors,the creator,the catchphrases and the one thing that most shows don't do now: continuity each episode has some reference to a past episode whether its the now famour "slap bet" between Marshall and barney or the dates that ted met years before but only just asked out. It has something for everyone definetly a must see program.
