WHAT IS IT ABOUT:
Camp fashion expert Gok Wan gets up close and personal in an attempt to transform women with poor body image and get them confident enough to parade down a cat-walk in their underwear. He shows them what to wear and how to wear it, in an aim to increase their self esteem and improve their lives, without making any changes to the person themself.

IS IT ANY GOOD:
This is a show aimed at women, but craftily throwing something in for the men as well - let me explain. For women, it's all about how to look better with what you've got, what styles and patterns accentuate your strengths (or 'bangers' as Gok calls them). It's a show that supposedly aims to make you proud of yourself as you are. In that sense, it's a very positive show, as it doesn't parade thin women as the answer to everything.

The appeal to men comes in the sporadic nakedness it exhibits. Every 20 minutes or so, you'll see a group of naked women, and this is just often enough to stop husbands around the country from turning over.

Gok himself is a real character - camp as Christmas, he has free license to run his hands all over the women, and he's an intriguing character to watch.

There are sure to be a lot of men who can't stand it, but if the occasional nudity appeals to you, give it a go guys!

IN CONCLUSION:
A nice break from the norm in that this show celebrates being 'normal', and shows you how to make the most of it. In a world of peer pressure, Gok is on a crusade to show us that all you need is a high fitting belt and some vertical stripes and you'll look great.
