The one thing that is vital with Hustle is you can't miss the first five minutes as the main foundations are set out and each character has particular jobs assigned to them, also you will learn who the 'Mark' is? - This really is a ... more

This show regularly gets confused with 'the real hustle' the difference being 'the real hustle' is a reality show which goes out into the publlic , and the review I am writing is on 'Hustle' which id a drama usually broadcast on BBC 1 but I have also seen it broadcast on another freeview channel. The show has been going strong for 5 seasons now and it is about a group of hustlers who always target either the corrupt , smug or just filthy rich .It is mainly set in the city of London where many of the 'big money people' are associated with . There have been a few cast changes throughout the series but in the latest series Albert (Robert Vaughn) is ...  Read the complete review

This is one of my favourite BBC TV shows and it is still going strong on its' 5th season with more planned, despite casting issues behind the scenes. Hustle is set primarily in London and is about a group of con artists who frequently perform their specialised 'long cons'. However this particular group, led by the fictionally infamous Michael Stone, only con the deserving. Part of the twist is that they can only people who are or have already broken the rules: i.e. dodgy Judges, evil CEO's, crooked casino owners...etc etc. This is a classy and smart program that breaks the fourth wall as one of its signature styles. The plots are entertaining, funny ...  Read the complete review

When I saw that this was coming back to our screens this spring, I was delighted, but also in some ways a bit afraid of what may happen as they returned to the show after such a long break and the prospect of new characters was looming overhead also. But luckily all of my fears were put to rest, and they the show was a return to form, coming in with a number of good cons and characters, but were all of the changes good, let's discuss. Firstly, we have the change of personal, with two new characters introduced to the mix, knocking out Danny, who was for me a major part of the show and will be severely missed, although there is still hope of a return, and ...  Read the complete review

After five years and five series, Hustle has a cult following and viewing figures of over 5.5 million per episode. This is a show without equal, a BBC Drama heavily laced with humour which moves along at a lightning pace and keeps you guessing 'til the very end. Most scripts have been artistically crafted by the genius that is Tony Jordan. The cast is superb and the production and filming commendable. For those not familiar with the theme of this show, it centres around a team of "long con" artists, the self-proclaimed aristocracy of the criminal world (more Robin Hood than Kray Brothers). The long con involves targeting a "mark" ...  Read the complete review
