Being born in 1960, I was in my teens during the seventies, so this series has been like a breath of fresh air over the last few Saturday nights. Hubby is also 40 now, so the 70s and 80 were our eras and it's just great to see programs like this one on our screens reminding us of our misspent youth.

Every week a year is picked (it's up to about 1978 now) and we are taken back to the fashions, the music, the trends and fads of each year. Clackers, chopper bikes, disco, space hoppers, Queen, Kung Fu Fighting... oh those were the days! In between the clips there are 'comics' who come on and comment about the times. These bits are really funny and you find yourself agreeing with everything they say. "Oh yeah, I remember that" or "We used to do that".

Last week they were on about Spece Dust, a 'sweet' that exploded in your mouth and which would transform into a frothy mess which would spill out of the corners of your mouth if you drank coke at the same time :-)) Happy days.

Saturday Night Fever, Start Wars, Marc Bolan, Punk. Oh, the show's just fantabulous! I wish I had videoed it really. If the seventies were not your era, it would probably bore you to tears ..... or give you a right laugh at what it used to be like in that decade .... but the seventies WAS mine and I give the show 100%!
