The zenith of television programming, American tv has finally found something of which John Loggie Baird could truly be proud, this programme is shown on TMF, it is rightfully pitched at a primetime evening slot as its thought provoking television that makes you consider art, spirituality and our place in the universe. Nah, not really this is a spin off of another equally pointless reality television show called Flava of Love with the big clocked rapper, Flava Flav. I mentioned in my review of 'Pimp my Ride' that I occasionally watch some dodgy television - however, the programme I am about to review is on a whole new level of wrong! Fitting into the 'reality show' genre, 'I love New York' is arguably TV at its worst. I don't know if you ever watched 'Flavour of Love' - the reality show in which crazy rapper 'Flava Flav' is looking for a new wife - well, 'New York' (real name Tiffany Pollard) was a contestant on that show, and due to her... let's say, aggravated nature, she was given a show of her own - and 'I Love New York' is the awful result.
