In some respects the show is similar to a contemporary show, THE FUGITIVE. Both shows featured one man travelling from place to place, seeking resolution to his own problems. The theme was taken up in later years in the TV version of THE INCREDIBLE HULK. THE INVADERS was an American science fiction show which aired in the late 1960s and whose influence is still being felt today in shows like DARK SKIES, THE X-FILES and especially FIRST WAVE. Roy Thinnes starred as David Vincent, an architect who is the sole witness of a flying saucer as it lands. This was a TV series that I really enjoyed, I saw a re-run as I child and was absolutely hooked. It was very typical of the early sci-fi series & films. One of the strangest things I found about this was the way that each episode in the series was split up into scences & acts (labelling them on each scene). Forgive me if I'm wrong, cos my memory is hazy (I was only 8 or 9 when I saw this series), the Invaders took on human form and were trying to take over the earth (heard this one before?)
