Invaders, The

THE INVADERS was an American science fiction show which aired in the late 1960s and whose influence is still being felt today in shows like DARK SKIES, THE X-FILES and especially FIRST WAVE. Roy Thinnes starred as David Vincent, an architect who is the sole witness of a flying saucer as it lands. This was a TV series that I really enjoyed, I saw a re-run as I child and was absolutely hooked. It was very typical of the early sci-fi series & films. One of the strangest things I found about this was the way that each episode in the series was split up into scences & acts (labelling them on each scene). Forgive me if I'm wrong, cos my memory is hazy (I was only 8 or 9 when I saw this series), the Invaders took on human form and were trying to take over the earth (heard this one before?)
