All he has to do is have an experimental gland (the quicksilver gland which lets him become invisible) put inside his head, in his brain. He sees this as a reasonable deal, not realising the consequences. A side effect, is that after a little while (six days i think) he starts to go mad, it gets worse until he reaches quicksilver madness from which there is little chance of return. WOW! this program is one of the best programmes i am watching on tv right now. I watch it on Bravo, every night at midnight. It is on monday to thursday, and i would recommend it to anyone who likes/liked the original story of the invisible man by H.G. Wells. ( the first two episodes of this were shown as one, on sky moviemax so i haven't seen them yet, but i have seen the rest of the first series.) The programme centers around Darian Fawkes, a theif who is caught, arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment (i haven't seen the first two episodes like i said so i am not positive). A modern day twist on the H.G. Wells story where a thief, Darian Fawkes played by Vincent Ventresca is arrested and then offered a second chance rather than serving jail time. There is a catch he has to become a human guinea pig and have surgery to implant a "gland" on to the stem of his brain. The 'gland' enables him to become invisible. As his brother is doing the research and the surgery Darian reckons he is on pretty safe ground until the 'gland' develops some nasty side effects causing Darian to go a little crazy if he turns invisible too often.
