Grumble, moan, whinge, and we're off with the most miserable man in showbiz, ladeeez and gennulmen, I give you Jack Dee. I have to say that I didn't enjoy this programme one bit, there were too many minutes when Jack wasn't centre screen, giving us his stand up routine. The uncomfortable bit was when I had a flashback to when Jasper Carrott sold out -it was the same creepy feeling and it even had that guy, you know, the one from the Mary Whitehouse Experience who isn't funny, but thinks he is, sharing the limelight, as did Jasper. Comic genius - there is no better phrase to sum up Jack Dee. His dry sense of humour is very entertaining to watch and whilst there are those who don't appreciate his style of comedy, he is without doubt one of the top comediens about. His Happy Hour show, ok, it's not happy and it's not an hour, is more than just stand up comedy. His mickey taking of the public is hilarious - although I certainly wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one of his sharp blows. I started watchin Jack Dee's Happy Hour when the second series started and I now love it. It is very funny. Jack Dee is a comedy genius because I thought all the best jokes were done but he proved me wrong. He makes it even more funny because of the charactor he is. He's a miserable man who hates everything. The best thing he does is keep a straight face when he says hillarious jokes. The show starts of with him making some jokes about recent things that have just happened, like things that happened in the news. JAck dee is a very funny person no doubt about it but he is also a very sad man i don't actually think i have seen him smile let alone laugh but he is still funny on the happy hour and that's all that counts. He is very funny on the show and it is also amusing on his show when he gets people to record him a message and he answers in the best possible way. First he makes them look weird or stupid by the expression on his face and then he makes them look even more stupid by making a smart remark about them.
